Webinar: Efficiently produce P&IDs with AVEVA Diagrams

January 14, 2015

AVEVA will be hosting its AVEVA Engineering webinar titled 'Get your engineering under control with AVEVA Engineering' on 3rd July 2014

Date: 22-Jan-2015
Time: 08:00 and 14:00 GMT (45 mins)
Presenters: Julien de Beer and Henrik Hultin

Join this webinar to find out how to quickly efficiently produce P&ID’s with AVEVA Diagrams.

P&IDs play an important role in any plant and marine design project. By representing the functional definition of the process systems, they form the basis for many related Engineering & Design activities. For this reason, it is important that the development of P&IDs is considered against this context and not in isolation.

Integration is very much the focus of today’s engineering projects, with the objective of streamlining all processes as much as possible, to maximise efficiency between all project stakeholders. The same requirements apply to the tools that are being used by the various disciplines and stakeholders on each project.

By using a data-driven P&ID application such as AVEVA Diagrams one is able, not only to quickly and efficiently produce P&IDs and other schematics, but also to ensure that data quality and consistency are maintained with the other engineering disciplines (process, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical) and downstream 3D modelling or material management solutions.

In this webinar, Julien de Beer and Henrik Hultin will explain how AVEVA Diagrams can contribute to efficient work processes, where the value of the data-driven approach can extend beyond the teams directly drawing the P&IDs and reach other parts of the organisation and downstream activities. The integration with other applications and data sources will be a focal point of this presentation, and some of the new features in the latest AVEVA Diagrams 14.1 release will be highlighted.
